Making of: Crabmation

The making of  my Crabmation stop motion animation.

The crab is made from card-stock and was colored with colored pencils and markers. Replacement animation was used for both the eyes and the mouth of the crab.

 

A strip of armature wire was glued down on to the back of each leg leaving the area where the joints meet unobstructed and making them flexible.
Crab puppet and some setting pieces.

 

Final Crab Puppet plus replaceable eyes, mouths and props.
