JiJi the Cat from Kiki’s Delivery Service

A coworker of mine requested a stuffed animal of JiJi the cat from Kiki’s Delivery Service. I obliged.

For those unaware, Kiki’s Delivery Service is a 1989 Studio Ghibli film by the great Hayao Miyazaki.Miyazaki also brought us other awesome films such as  My Neighbor Totoro(1988), Princess Mononoke (1997) Spirited Away(2001), Howl’s Moving Castle (2004), etc

Anyway, here’s the finished product. Enjoy!

JiJi stands about 12 inches tall.

The bow collar has a button snap in the back for easy removal.

Originally I was going to use a plastic safety nose but the only ones I could find were way to small for his head. I opted for a sew on nose instead but It was way to small to stuff with fluff so his nose and front of his face now have a flat look to them.
