Puppet School

A few years ago, it was suggested to me that I take some puppeteering classes with an instructor named Michael Earl. (You may know his from such past roles as Aloysius Snuffleupagus on Sesame Street.)

I took the TV Puppetry Series and later one first of the Theater series. While I’m more of a television monitor puppetry, the theater class was super fun. It’s always nice to meet other people who are as enthusiastic about puppets as I am.

Over the years the puppet school has grown in to a whole staff of instructors and puppet builders ready to teach the next generation of puppeteers, or for those people who just want to have some fun learning puppetry.
